Plainbox is working with one of the largest non-bank mortgage lenders in the southeastern United States, transforming the firm from AI-Assisted to AI-Native.
The engagement opened with a discovery phase. We mapped the company's intelligence: the underwriting overlays, the pricing exceptions, the operational rules held in three people's heads. Out of that work came a clear picture of which workflow rebuilds were worth doing first.
The first two rebuilds were PRISM and ELEVATE. PRISM is a technology cost intelligence platform that turns vendor invoices into per-channel and per-loan unit economics. ELEVATE is a sales intelligence application that combines real-time market data with operational data from the loan origination system, giving the wholesale and retail teams a view of client activity and engagement opportunities they did not have before.
The client is now in the next phase: a six-month AI Department as a Service engagement. The training curriculum is running across the company. The agent infrastructure is being designed. The next set of workflow rebuilds is being scoped. ELEVATE is being extended into the agent layer where it sits as the operating layer of the AI-Native mortgage company.
